Technical and financial due-diligence of energy projects (international)
We conducted technical and financial due-diligence along with preparation of investor-ready project documents of various international energy projects (solar mini-grid, solar off-grid, biomass and utility-scale solar). Some countries of project location include Nigeria, Kenya, Indonesia, India, Haiti, Kiribati, Bhutan, Peru and Vanuatu.
Training and technical support for solar water pumps (regional)
We provided in-depth training on solar water pumps to the officials of Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Myanmar and Pakistan. Upon completion of the training, we are supporting the officials of Bhutan for the design, installation and commissioning of solar water pumps.
Training of solar irrigation pumps for local capacity building
We conducted training for local technicians in Saptari and Rautahat on solar irrigation pumps focusing mainly on installation, commissioning, best practices and operation & maintenance (O & M). As part of the training, we developed a handbook on practical implementation aspects of solar irrigation pumps.
Technical consultant for solar mini-grid projects
We are providing technical consulting services for solar mini-grid projects in Dailekh, Humla, Jumla and Dolpa. Our support includes technical survey, installation supervision and commissioning.
Research on battery value chain – China
We are conducting a research on mapping out the global battery value chain and contextualizing the scenario for demand-supply balance for future China.
Owner’s engineer services for solar rooftop projects
We are providing owner’s engineer services for several solar rooftop projects (individual project sizes >500kWp) in various locations in Nepal.
Technical scenario for 100% renewable energy – Nepal
We are supporting the development of Nepal’s technical scenario for a 100% renewable energy pathway. Stakeholders include World Future Council, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and Prakriti Resources Centre
Detailed feasibility study of 4 district hospitals for solar PV on-grid intervention
We conducted the site survey of 4 district hospitals and prepared a detailed feasibility report on solar PV on-grid intervention in the (including system architecture, structural analysis, engineering drawings, electromechanical and civil design).
Detailed feasibility study of PEU promotion of mini-hydropower plants
We are conducting a detailed feasibility study on productive end-use (PEU) for irrigation from existing mini-hydropower plants in various locations in Nepal.
Business opportunities assessment and business plan preparation of solar mini-grid projects in Thabang and Susta
We assessed the business opportunity and prepared a business plan for two locations of solar mini-grids. We worked with Renewable Energy for Rural Livelihoods RERL)/Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) and the local community to develop a realistic business plan.
Technical assessment and site inspection of solar PV systems
We conducted the technical assessment, and site inspection of solar home systems, institutional solar power systems (ISPS), solar street lights and solar water pumps in Province 1.
Preparation of energy efficiency standards
We prepared energy efficiency standards for selected electrical/thermal equipment and appliances. Key stakeholders include Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC) and Nepal Bureau of Standards & Metrology (NBSM).
Trainings – solar PV systems
1. We conducted one-day technical training of Solar Water Pumps in Integrated Energy and Irrigation Special Program, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation.
2. We conducted one-day training of solar PV systems <span style=”font-size: 15px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;”>to fourth-year undergraduate students of Thapathali Campus, Institute of Engineering, </span>covering technical background and project implementation process .
